Uni soviet is one of the big countries which had left its history nowadays. Uni soviet is the country which had socialist ideology and it was formed in 1922 until finally Uni soviet smashed 1991 and its region become many countries.

Before it smashed and divided into some countries, Uni Soviet is one of the 2 super power countries in the world at that time, with the total area approximately 22 million km square and its population approximately 293 million people.

Basically, Uni Soviet is a socialist federation country which consists of 15 states known as (USSR) or  Uni Soviet Socialist Republic , then those 15 countries declared its independence one by one along with the downfall of USSR.

1.Armenia 

Armenia is one of the states in Uni Soviet that declared its independence on 21st of September 1991 with the capital is Yerevan. The vast of its region is about 29.743 km square. This country bordered with Georgia in the north, turkey in the west, Azerbaijan in the east, and Iran in the south. The government system in Armenia is Multiparty Republic and its currency is Dram.

2.Azerbaijan 

This country is also the part of Uni soviet at that time, then they become independent country on August 30th 1991 with the capital is Baku. This country has vast size approximately 86.600 km square. Azerbaijan is bordered by Russia in the north, Georgia and Armenia in the west, and Iran in the south. The government system in Azerbaijan is Federal Multiparty Republic and its currency is Manat ( Azerbaijani Manat).

3.Belarus

Belarus is ex uni Soviet’s state which became independent on August 25th 1991 with the capital is Minsk. The vast of its region is about 207.600 km square that administratively divided into 6 provinces and one autonomous city. The government system in Belarus is Multiparty Republic and its currency is Rouble (Belarusian Rouble).

4.Estonia 

Estonia declared its independence day on August 20th 1991 with Tallinn as the capital. The total area of Estonia is 45.288 km square. This country border on finland in the north, Baltic sea in the west, Peipus Lake and Russia in the east, Latvia and Riga Bay in the south. The government system in Estonia is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Kroon (Estonian kroon).

5.Georgia
 

Georgia is one of ex Uni Soviet’s states that become independent country on 9th of April 1991. The capital of Georgia is Tbilisi. This country has vast area approximately 69.700 km square. This country bordered with Russia in the north, Turkey in the west, Armenia in the south, and Azerbaijan in the east. The government system in Georgia is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Lari.

6.Kazakhstan.

This country declared its impendence on December 16th 1991 with the capital is Astana. The vast of Kazakhstan is approximately 2.724.900 km square. Half of Kazakhstan’s region belongs to Asia and its middle and west region belongs to east Europe. The government system in Kazakhstan is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Tenge.

7.Kyrgyzstan 

Kyrgyzstan is also ex part of Uni Soviet that become independent on August 31st 1991. The capital of Kyrgyzstan is Bishkek and its vast is up to 199.951 km square. This country bordered on Kazakhstan in the north, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the west, and PR of China in the east. The government system in Kyrgyzstan is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Som (Kyrgyzstani Som).

8.Latvia 

Latvia declared its independence on 5th of September 1991 with Riga as the capital. Latvia has vast size of its total region approximately 64.589 km square. Latvia bordered with Estonia in the north, Lithuania in the south, Russia in the east, and Sweden in the west. The government system in Latvia is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Lat (Latvian Lat).

9.Lithuania 

Lithuania declared its independence on September 6th 1991 with the capital is Vilnius. Total area of Lithuania is about 65.300 km square. This country located in Baltic Bay which is bordered by Latvia in the north, Belarus in the southeast, Poland in the south, and Russia in the southwest. The government system in Lithuania is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Litas.

10.Moldova 

This ex Uni Soviet’s state became independent on August 27th 1991 with the capital is Chisinau and its vast area is about 33.581 km square. Moldova is a democracy parliamentary country which has multiparty republic as its government system. Some of Moldova’s region is ex-Moldavia’s Kingdom in the middle century. The government system in Moldova is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Leu (Moldovan Leu).

11.Russia 

Russia is the largest ex Uni Soviet countries with the total area is about 17.098.242 km square. The capital of Russia is Moscow. It is estimated that Russia is the main heir of Uni Soviet. Russia became independent on 26th December 1991. The government system in Russia is Federal Multiparty Republic and the currency is Ruble.

12.Tajikistan

This country declared its independence on September 9th 1991 with Dushanbe as its capital. The vast of Tajikistan is about 144.100 km sq. Tajikistan bordered with Afghanistan in the south, PR of China in the east, Kyrgyzstan in the north, and Uzbekistan in the west. The government system in Tajikistan is Transitional Democracy and the currency is Somoni.

13.Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan became independent country on October 27th 1991. Ashgabat is the capital of Turkmenistan. Total area of this country is 488.100 km sq. this country is located in Middle Asia and bordered with Iran in the south, Afghanistan in the southeast, Uzbekistan in the north, and Kazakhstan in the northwest. The government system in Turkmenistan is Single-party Republic and the currency is Manat (Turkmen Manat).

14.Ukraine

Ukraine is ex Uni Soviet country that is well-known enough in the world, Ukraine ever be the host country of European Cup. Ukraine declared its independence on August 24th 1991. The capital of Ukraine is Kiev. The vast of Ukraine is approximately 603. 550 km sq. there’s a conflict between Ukraine and Russia several years ago about the annexation of Crimea. Crimea is part of Ukraine after its independence at first, but after the dispute between these 2 countries, finally Crimea became the part of Russia and it is successfully annexed. The government system in Ukraine is Multiparty Republic and the currency is Hryvnia.

15.Uzbekistan 

This country declared its independence on September 1st 1991 with Tashkent as the capital. The vast of Uzbekistan is about 447.400 km sq. this country bordered with Kazakhstan in the west and north, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in the east, and Turkmenistan in the south. The government system in Uzbekistan is Socialist Republic and the currency is Sum (Uzbekistani Sum).

Some countries have the same last name, some countries have the similar culture, and etc. This is because they were from one nation, one region, one identity, it is Uni Soviet. The currency of these countries is different, but we knew that in Europe, countries which belongs to Europe also could use euro as their currency, that’s why some countries above might use euro, and some countries might have the same currency.
